About the Author
As it is necessary to acknowledge the value of the individual before one can understand the concept of liberty, this description isn't about identifying with a multitude of labels or trying to gain approval through copy-and-paste talking points. I’m a young American who loves many things, but it isn't my interests, opinions or accomplishments that make me who I am or what I say valid. It's this part of who I am that I'd like to describe on this page.

My name is Alec Pavlik. I was born in 1997 into a Christian home. Because of this I went to a Methodist Church, attended a Baptist School and later went to a Lutheran Church. The minor differences between these denominations made me want to, in the simplest terms, check their sources. This primarily being the Bible. It was my independent study into the Bible that ended up inspiring me to pursue truth myself, without reliance on institutions.

Rather than sowing doubt, this pursuit of truth strengthened my faith, and through that refinement process, I never doubted the validity of the Bible. I later reflected upon this and realized it was because, unlike any person, school or church, when I trusted everything in the Bible correctly it never lead me wrong. I liken it to the scientific method. If one does not believe in the scientific method blindly, or because of how they were raised, they believe in it because its consistent results prove itself. In this case, pure consistency is an indicator of truth.

When I first came online, just like anyone, I was exposed to many opposing beliefs and much of the world's hardships. As a Christian I wanted to help people, but realized that if I wanted to help those who were struggling, as well as survive the world myself, I needed my beliefs to be consistent. Starting at just 14 years old I began to challenge my own beliefs, not in doubt, but to find contradictions in my own worldview and attend to them. Unintentionally, I quickly noticed how horribly inconsistent the worldview presented by pop culture, academia and the government were with reality. I believed (and still do) that this was producing an age of depression and societal collapse.

Obviously if you saw something to be a danger to society you'd probably want to do something about it. That is why I got into political commentary and started this blog. To promote liberty and the values that sustain it, so that the truth may flourish. After-all, if truth is objective, then so long as we are free to do the right thing, truth will naturally grow out of it.

1 Timothy 4:12- Don’t let anyone look down on you because of your youth; on the contrary, set the believers an example in your speech, behavior, love, trust and purity.

About
I'm a Christian who loves people and my country. Even though I am shy in person I can not sit by and watch everything I love fall to tyranny. That is how I went from gaming on YouTube to blogging about politics.
