Thoughts on Armed Oregon Protesters

(Posting this kinda late, please forgive any typos or grammatical issues. I just felt like I really needed to get this out there before tomorrow for some reason.)

Considering my last post you might just think I fully support the Oregon protestors, I don’t. I don’t agree with how they handled the situation, I don’t agree that they should try to spark a revolution without the moral high ground. Originally I was unsure wether or not they had the moral high ground, but I gave some time to think about it and yes, they should have waited for a completely different situation and more public backing to go all out like this. What I do think however is that the government does not have any reason to “pull a Waco” on this protest. By that I mean, this can end peacefully, or it can end with the fed enraging the other minutemen who originally were against the protests. The local or federal government attacking the protestors would not just cause an outpouring from their supporters, but of patriots who disagreed with them but still think they don’t deserve the death penalty for occupying a federal building and being no danger to other American citizens. In my last post I said this was Americans Attacking Tyranny, and I still stand by that. This protest is not terrorism, it is Americans standing up against tyranny, peacefully, even if they’re doing it completely wrong. Oregon would actually be under attack if officers and federal agents opened fire on the protestors. Right now I encourage the protestors to stand down or to announce what the hell they’re trying to accomplish. I know you can’t just be there for the family, you're taking a stand against all government corruption- but how will occupying this building help either way? Will you make it a command base for militia, are you going to establish a movement and hold conferences in this Oregon base you took from the federal government? Or do you have absolutely no plan other than “if we don’t give the government their building back they’ll just have to become good again.” That wont work and you should know this. You need more vocal support other than the ones coming from one building in Oregon, who aren't even lead by someone from their home state. Taking over a federal building in Oregon and never leaving, at it’s best could cause the government to waste our tax dollars on building a new one somewhere else, and at it’s worst could cause local law enforcement and federal agents to open fire on the protestors and possibly cause a civil war. If what happened in Waco happened today I'd bet my life that we'd see an outpouring of militias and minutemen to that location, even if the majority didn’t support the people they were defending. We uphold the Constitution and real human rights, families do not deserve death for simply breaking non-violent laws in protest.
Oregon protestors, you have the honor not to fire, do the honorable thing and stand down. Maybe go protest for the release of Charles Dyer or someone who might actually accept your invitation for aid, just no more armed take overs mkay? Not unless you have a bigger plan than “if I sit here the government will not be corrupt anymore”.
As for anyone on the other side with a gun, do not shoot or allow any fellow “peace keepers” to shoot. Trust me, it wont be peaceful for too long if gunshots are fired near those protestors. Even if you killed every protestor, more will come who originally disagreed with them. One thing us Militiamen, minutemen, and patriotic peppers almost universally follow, is that we stand up for everyone’s rights, even the people we disagree with. Firing upon people for non-violent crimes with our modern communications wont end so smoothly as it did in Waco or Ruby Ridge.

Oh and thanks, Mr. Obama, for not causing a civil war yet. That was nice of you. You just have to hold off for like one more year, c’mon I know you can do it. Just uphold the Constitution and stop trying to bypass elected officials, shouldn’t be to hard right?
