Defend Each Other

I’m writing this an hour after Ted Cruz has dropped out of the presidential race. As you probably know, I believed Cruz was the last vaguely Constitutionalist running for president. Hillary Clinton is just another Obama who will use manipulation of federal powers to pass her agenda anyway she wants. Donald Trump has admitted he would be just as bad at exploiting his power and not only sucks at following traditional conservative values, but promotes greed and adultery. Scarily enough, Bernie Sanders seems the most friendly to the Constitution. If Bernie keeps to his word he’d be able to accomplish literally nothing due to his socialist agenda, but it’s nice to actually hear someone talk about the law in politics. What’s even scarier is John Kasich seems the most conservative of the bunch. The dude with less delegates than Rubio is now the only one who is trustworthy enough to be considered vaguely conservative. His problem is that if he did win in a brokered convention, all the crazy Trump supporters would riot like the Black Panthers after a criminal was shot.

So what to do? Well if you're in California and are registered Republican y'all might as well vote for Kasich, we got nothing to lose anymore. Kasich might be moderate, but he’s not a loudmouth who will destroy the reputation of the GOP and expand federal power far beyond the comprehensions of any human being. (Hey look at me using exaggerations, maybe I should write some of Trump’s speeches.)

Anyways, the best thing we can do is probably the most American thing we can do. No it isn't vote to get a stupid “I Voted” sticker or burn your own city down, it’s watch out for one another. Our political system has split us apart socially. If your neighbors need help there should be no question to help them. If a business or college denies someone rights, don't nag about it and ask the government to help you, boycott it. We hold the money, we pay the taxes, corruption cant survive if the people starve it of money. Defend the entire Bill of Rights. It doesn’t matter if it’s a Conservative outlet being blocked on Facebook, or a Liberal one being sued by Trump. The United States will fall if we continue to willingly beat each other down. Sure we can disagree, but we also need to uphold each other’s right to disagree. People aren’t robots and you're not a god, so stop acting like everyone’s hitler and instead focus on defending each other on an individual basis. Conservatives look into your State Militias and don’t just defend yourselves. Yes ranchers are being bullied by the government, but how about using some of our strength and defiance against these false drug raids that have killed innocent children, veterans and pets. Liberals use your media power to point out injustices not just when it happens to a gay person, but when it happens to someone you disagree with too. I know this sounds insane but racism can’t be outlawed otherwise the majority could outlaw any opinion as a hate crime. Outlawing “offensive” opinions will actually end up persecuting minorities even more.

If Trump wins the nomination I’ll be leaving the Republican Party to an Independent or a third party. It’s been fun, but if Trump’s what the party wants them it no longer represents what I stand for.

Long live the Republic, Godspeed and Semper fidelis.

As a Christian who loves my country I tend to not be silent on political matters. Even though I am shy in person I can’t watch everything I love fall to tyranny. That is how I went from gaming on YouTube to blogging about politics.
